Bright and Bold: Working with Color at the North Carolina Museum of Art's Art in Bloom 2020. Tickets for this lunch time demonstration and discussion can be purchased through the North Carolina Museum of Art beginning on April 7th to members and April 14th to non members.
We will walk through standard color theroy then talk about my approach to combining colors successfully. I'll explain the concept of bridge colors and how the shapes of a color can impact the design as well. We will look at blocking and how collections of color can often be easier to work with than color dispersement. We will end by taking your Q's and hope I have some A's!
I'll be on stage with loads of rich blooms designing as I talk and those on-stage designs will go to a few lucky attendees but everyone will leave understanding better the do's and dont's of arranging with big bold blooms.
